Prior to her being named Chief Operating Office of DGNY Commercial, Faranello was the Director of Corporate Development for Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty. Faranello had been working on the development and launch of DGNY Commercial for the past year.
While at DGSIR her role included strategic planning for the organization, the review of department operational procedures and structures, the identification of growth strategies and the development of corporate partnerships and sponsorships.
She joined Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty after a career in commercial and investment banking. Faranello received a B.S.B.A. from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business and her M.B.A. summa cum laude from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business.
A veteran of commercial real estate since 1984, Magnani is a Licensed Associate Broker. Prior to being named Executive Director of DGNY Commercial, Magnani was the Sales Manager of the commercial division under Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty. During his leadership, Long Island Business News readers voted the Commercial Division a first runner up for Best Commercial Real Estate Company and Best Commercial Real Estate Broker in that publication's annual survey of the "Best of Long Island”. Magnani has served as Associate Board Member of CIBS (Commercial Industrial Brokers Society) for the past 5 years. Magnani was named a CoStar Power Broker for 2012 in Retail Transactions.
Beginning his career as an investment broker with The Windsor Group in Manhattan, John gained an expertise in the commercial and industrial sectors of NYC and Long Island. Among John's notable transactions, the conversion of a 50,000 square foot Brooklyn warehouse into a NYC school.
Michael brings a wealth of business experience and community service to this position. He has over 30 years of sales experience selling multiple product lines thru various distribution channels. He is a member of the Port Washington Police Athletic League Executive Advisory Board, Retired President of the Port Washington Soccer Club, current member of the Port Washington Community Chest Golf Outing committee, and an Island Harvest’s Taste of Harvest committee member.
Michael is the president of the Long Island Food Council and leading the council’s efforts to connect companies in the Food & Beverage industry, create more local jobs and educate individuals interested in starting their own food related businesses. Michael is also spearheading the council’s creative ideas for growing crops in underutilized public space and engaging local culinary schools to prepare food for Island Harvest food bank.
With the relationships and resources that a close affiliation with DGSIR provides, Haydon is looking forward to contributing to the future success and growth of DGNY Commercial by providing their clients with world class marketing support and knowledge.
Before working with Daniel Gale Sotheby’s and DGNY, Haydon obtained his bachelor’s degree in Sport Management & Marketing from University of Delaware’s Lerner College of Business & Economics. After graduation and working in the NBA Development League for the Philadelphia 76ers affiliate, he moved to Miami, Florida for two years to work in the sport startup and restaurant industries where he managed large scale social media accounts and distributor brand deals.
Upon returning to New York, he began his career in Real Estate about three years ago when he joined the Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International team as a Marketing & Advertising Coordinator for the Glen Head and Sea Cliff Offices. He has now moved into the commercial real estate world with the launching of DGNY Commercial and his promotion to Associate Director of Marketing.
